Watching A Bug's Life

Gabe came over to have lunch with the little boys and I after his art class.  They decided they wanted to watch "A Bug's Life" until they fell asleep.  Well, Gabe has gone home and the little boys are still upright and no sign of sleep coming soon.  Think I should turn off the television????

Alex Caught In the Act

Alex wanted to get a jump-start on the day's swimming before Rog got back from walking.  He decided to get bathing suits for for both he and his brother without telling me.  As you an see, he got caught halfway and couldn't get down.  As usual, he got what he went after--both suits in hand.

Good Morning Time at Honey and Pop's

"Good Morning Time", as the little boys say, is our favorite time of the day.  Breakfast, relaxing and THEN the fun begins.

Night Swimming With the Boys

It occurred to Rog and I that the little boys had never seen the pool at night. As a matter of fact, they had never been swimming in our pool at night. Well, last night they got to do both. "It's beautiful, Pop, it's really, really beautiful, Pop" was all they could say. Funny how it's the small things they enjoy and remember the most. Love those little boys.

My Poor Little Boy

Our vacation was wonderful--with the exception of a couple of things.

One: Gabe got a little to excited during the water balloon fight (trying to hit Uncle Davey)
and fell off the retaining wall.  That resulted in breaking his wrist in two places.
He didnt miss a beat though.

Two:  Davey had problems with  the truck on the way home with THREE COWS he bought
at the auction in Georgia.  So Rog and I picked up Claire and the boys in Gulfport at 11:30 p.m.
and had to drive to Diamondhead because there were no hotel rooms available in Gulfport.
Poor Davey waited for the tow truck and ended up sleeping in the cab of the truck in the yard
at the mechanic's shop.   Finally the mechanic got it up and running the next day only to
breakdown again around DesAllemands.  His dad ended up going  to get him late
Sunday afternoon.

All in all, the trip was wonderful and eventful and we would do it again in a heartbeat.  Already
thinking about next summer.
