First Swim of the Summer

Eli talked Alex into jumping into the pool behind him.   It was so cute to
watch them holding hands and counting down the jump.
The well planned leap.

Alex tried to change his mind but Eli would have none of that.  Eli hung onto Alex for
dear life and went off the board with Alex in tow.
Eli went in feet first and Alex went in---well you can see how he broke the water's surface.
Both came up sputtering and laughing.

FYI:  The wind was blowing and the water was freezing.  These little boys are made
of steel.  They walked to the water's edge and jump in.  Never once did either
one of them mention being cold even though they were turning purple.

Their Own Little Piece of Ground

Alex and Eli helped me dig up bulbs from this bed last week.
They confiscated the bed to do some digging of their own.
Alex told me he was going to be planting corn and tomatoes.
Hope they share.

New Boots

The Easter Bunny brought an early Easter present to Alex and Eli.
They were so excited about their boots.  Supposedly, they can
only wear them on special occasions and to church.  Let's see
how long that lasts................

The Boys and I

The boys sat still just long enough to have Claire take a picture of the three of us.
Usually I'm behind the camera and they're fishing. No time for posed pictures with these two.

Climbing the fence

First the little fingers

Then the little face

This is their new playground.  They love to climb the fence and
pretend they are climbing a mountain.
I have to say, they're pretty good at pretending.

Weekend At the Point With the Boys

Claire, Davey and the little boys spent the weekend at the Point. We went for a boat ride, caught fish and played until they dropped. We need more weekends like this.

Avoiding Naptime

Mr. Cool watching "Susan"

Some moms would kill for their little girls to have hair like the boys.

The tent Pop made for them.

Rog and His Boys

Rog and the boys eat peanut butter crackers every morning after Rog's
morning walk. Usually Rog has no shirt on but I made him put it on for the picture.
That's why Alex and Eli are bare chested (they want to be like Pop).

It's Good Mornin' Time

The boys and I always sit on my big red chair or on the swing to watch the birds eating
at the birdfeeders. This morning they did it with Claire. I usually have them all to myself.
I sorta missed that private time with them.  All three boys and I have done this since they
were born.  Sometimes Gabe will INVITE me to sit on the swing with him and listen
to the rain on the roof.  That makes my heart sing.  Making memories is a wonderful thing
and a very important part of life.

It was a little chilly this morning so they were wrapped in their favorite blanket.
It could be 100 degrees and they would still want those blankets.

I'm not sure who enjoyed the time on the swing more, Claire or the boys.

I see you sneakin' another picture, Honey!!!
